Real reviews from real patients
“I first visited Dr Isabelle in April due to shoulder pain, as I was experiencing discomfort during overhead shoulder workouts. She was very attentive and patient, and was able to accurately identify the issue and treat it effectively. She also recommended helpful stretches to improve my mobility. I returned for a second session and noticed a clear improvement in my condition. I later went back again for ankle discomfort, and Isabelle was once again able to treat the issue successfully. I’m really glad to have met Dr Isabelle. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients. I’m very pleased with her service and can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Keep up the great work! 👍🏼👍🏼”
“I had a great experience with ActiveX Physio, especially with Helen. She is very detailed and takes the time to properly assess and understand the root cause before providing the appropriate therapy and solutions. Helen is friendly, professional, and patient, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my sessions. After just 2 sessions with her guidance and prescribed exercises, my knee pain improved significantly and is no longer painful. I’m truly grateful and thankful for her help and support throughout my recovery journey. Thank you, Helen and ActiveX Physio!”
“TJ is an excellent physio who quickly identified the root causes of my back pain and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He prescribed targeted rehab exercises and was incredibly patient, attentive, and encouraging throughout both sessions. After just two visits, my range of motion has improved tremendously and the extreme pain I was dealing with is essentially gone. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients’ progress and recovery, not just a quick fix. Highly recommend TJ if you’re dealing with pain or mobility issues.”
“I was referred to Nicholas by a teammate after sustaining a rib injury from Dragonboat paddling, and I'm really glad I made the appointment! What stood out immediately was his familiarity with paddlesports. He was able to pinpoint my injury quickly through accurate physical assessments, which gave me a lot of confidence early on. The dry needling session was effective, and he was professional and accommodating throughout. Nicholas is also a great listener. He made sure I felt heard during every session, answered my questions clearly, and took the time to explain the mechanics of my injury in a way that genuinely empowered me to take ownership of my rehab. As someone who trains in a team setting, I appreciated that he offered alternative exercises tailored to my schedule, allowing me to keep up with my teammates without compromising recovery. He was also able to tailor and offer alternatives for exercises according to what I had access to at my training venue, which was a big plus point, as not all equipment may be available at my gym. His instructions and cues were clear and easy to follow, and his friendly demeanour made every session comfortable. Highly recommend Nicholas to any paddlesports athletes dealing with injuries! His ability to relate to the sport and offer personalised, practical advice makes a real difference.”
“Outstanding experience with Isabelle for my post-ACL surgery rehab! My rehab journey felt daunting, but Isabelle made all the difference. Her approach was detailed as she took the time to explain every exercise, track my progress meticulously, and ensure my form was perfect to avoid setbacks. Thanks to her dedicated guidance, my recovery results have been fantastic.”

Most people go back to training when they run out of patience, not when they’re ready. That’s exactly why the same injury keeps coming back. Return to training isn’t a date on a calendar. It’s a set of criteria your body meets, or doesn’t. When it doesn’t and you train anyway, the tissue doesn’t have the capacity to handle the load. The injury sits there, waiting for the next time you push it. Ivan and Helen take both questions in 2 minutes. Watch to hear what they say! If yours keeps coming back and you finally want to get it sorted, book in. Link in bio 💪🏼 #ActiveXPhysio #PhysioSingapore #Physiotherapy #ReturnToSport #InjuryRehab

His doctor cleared him to run at 4 months post Weber B fracture. That’s the green light for bone healing. It doesn’t tell you whether: 💥 His calf can handle it. Soleus needs to hit 1.8–2x bodyweight on an isometric test, and 25+ reps single leg calf raises before running loads are safe. 💥 His strength is symmetrical. We’re looking for quad and hamstring LSI >80% side-to-side before initiating any running programme. 💥 He can load that ankle under impact. Single leg hop LSI needs to hit >80% and landing needs to be controlled, not compensated. We tested all of it before he took a single running step. Fracture healing and running readiness are two different things. We look at both. Want a clear plan for your injury?
