Daniel Ng

Daniel is a Singaporean physiotherapist and NCSF certified personal trainer who specializes in combat sports injuries, sprains, dislocations, and acute injuries. He graduated with a BSc (Honours) in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology, with clinical training across private MSK practice and hospital sports physiotherapy.

Before physiotherapy, Daniel worked as a fitness trainer at Fight Zone for two years and coached striking at Argo Combat & Fitness Gym. He was President of the SIT Kickboxing Club in 2024. He trained clinically at Rapha Physiotherapy and the sports department at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, treating shoulder dislocations, ACL and ligament reconstructions, ankle sprains, and post-surgical rehab for athletes and military personnel.

Daniel has carried these injuries himself. He has a 2-0 Muay Thai fight record including a professional bout in Thailand, a BJJ blue belt with international competition medals in Malaysia, a 1st dan in Taekwondo, and a Sanda win at 65kg, and he has worked through his own injuries along the way: a grade 3 AC joint separation from BJJ, a sprained ankle that kept him out of competition, and a likely grade 2 AC joint injury during a Muay Thai camp in Thailand that he competed through two weeks later. Daniel still trains five to six times a week. Beyond combat sports, he has competed in canoe sprinting, basketball, and ultimate frisbee, and completed the Sundown Half-Marathon in 2023.

Outside the clinic, Daniel is in the ring, on the mats, or in the kitchen baking.
